01 · MY STORY
The Beginning

From Burnout
to the Mat.

Before yoga became a practice, it was something I dismissed. Growing up, I had seen my mother practise regularly, but I never paid much attention to it. Like many people, I thought yoga and meditation were vague and impractical.

That changed in 2013, during a difficult phase in college. I was struggling emotionally, mentally, academically, and socially. Anxiety had taken over, and even simple everyday things began to feel heavy.

As a last attempt to steady myself, I started with five minutes of meditation each morning, simply watching my breath. A month later, I gave yoga a chance. With a copy of Light on Yoga by B.K.S. Iyengar and a mat in my hostel room, I began practising for just ten minutes a day. Nothing elaborate. Just a quiet, consistent practice that slowly helped me feel human again.

What began as a way to cope gradually became something much deeper. Within weeks, I noticed meaningful changes. I was sleeping better, feeling calmer, and becoming more present in my own life. Over the years, my practice was not always perfect or consistent, but I kept returning to it because it always brought me back to steadiness and clarity.

In 2022, after returning to Mumbai and rejoining corporate life, I came back to yoga with much greater seriousness. This time, I began learning under a teacher, and my practice deepened in a more structured way.

As my practice deepened, so did a quiet but persistent thought: what if this path was meant to be shared? At the time, I was working at Morgan Stanley in a demanding corporate role. I had stability, but I knew I wanted a life with more meaning, more freedom, and more direct human impact.

Inspired by my teacher, and by the transformation I had experienced myself, I went to Rishikesh in 2024 to complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Soon after, I began teaching alongside my full-time job.

That phase made one thing very clear: teaching yoga felt deeply meaningful. Today, I teach with a strong focus on accessibility, sustainability, and intelligent progression – using props, modifications, and a beginner-friendly approach to help people build strength, confidence, and trust in their own bodies.

02 · CORPORATE BACKGROUND
Where structure meets practice

Built in the Boardroom

Before teaching yoga full-time, I spent over seven years in demanding corporate roles across economic research, finance, consulting, and quantitative work. That experience shaped the way I think and teach today: with structure, precision, and respect for process.

I understand what long hours, mental fatigue, sedentary routines, and constant pressure can do to the body and mind. That is why my teaching is not built around vague motivation or quick fixes. It is built around clear guidance, thoughtful progression, and practices that are meant to work in real life.

03 · HOW I TEACH

How every session
is shaped

My teaching is structured, adaptable, and built around the person in front of me. I focus on sustainable progress, clear guidance, and helping you build trust in your own body – without force, ego, or unnecessary complexity.

Feel Over Form

I care less about how a pose looks and more about how it feels in your body. The goal is not performance. The goal is awareness, control, and safety.

Props Are Partners

Props are not shortcuts. They are tools for access, precision, confidence, and progression – helping each body work more intelligently.

Build Slowly, Sustain Long

I do not rush students into advanced shapes. We build step by step, at a pace your body can recover from and return to.

Meet You Where You Are

Every body arrives with a different history, energy level, and set of limitations. The practice is adapted to you – not the other way around.

Teach the Person, Not the Pose

I am not here to force you into shapes. I am here to help you understand your body, move with more confidence, and progress in a way that lasts.

“Your body often knows more than you think. I simply help you learn to listen to it.”
